Former Officer of 100 Black Men of the Triangle Charged with Embezzling Nearly $65K

RALEIGH, NC – A former officer of a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring Black youth in Durham and Wake counties is accused of stealing nearly $65,000 from the organization. Ahmad Paige, 35, has been charged with embezzling $64,928.77 from 100 Black Men of Triangle East, Inc., an organization that has served the community since 2006.

Court records indicate that the alleged embezzlement took place in 2023, during which time Paige held an officer position within the organization. An arrest warrant for embezzling was issued, and authorities took Paige into custody in Durham on Wednesday (March 12).
