Portland Woman Charged in Fatal DUI Crash on Highway 26, Beaverton Passenger Dead

A fatal crash on Highway 26 has claimed the life of a Beaverton man, as reported last week, with Oregon State Police responding to the incident last Monday at 4:50 a.m. near milepost 44 in Clackamas County. According to the preliminary investigation, the westbound Chevrolet Malibu driven by Selena Mae Brust, 27, of Portland, careened off the road for yet-unknown reasons, hitting a rock and rolling into the northern side of the highway.

The vehicle had been reported stolen to the Gresham Police Department before the collision. Brust was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being incarcerated at Clackamas County Jail, where she’s facing charges that include Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangerment, and Manslaughter II, according to a report by Oregon State Police.
