MADERA COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Three men were charged after being caught attempting to sell more than 100,000 fentanyl pills at the parking lot at a strip mall in Madera, the United States Department of Justice said.
The DOJ says 28-year-old Jesus Valdez Castaneda of San Bernardino, 29-year-old Carlos German Fierro of Caruthers and 43-year-old Alejandro Soto Mares of Mexico were charged on Thursday with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.
According to court documents, Castaneda, Fierro and Mares conspired with others to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute over 400 grams of fentanyl. The men then went to sell 150,000 fentanyl pills at a parking lot of a strip mall in Madera on Feb. 21…
