MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery Police Department opened multiple investigations Thursday night, including a homicide probe, after at least four people were shot in the Capital City in a two-hour span.
The first shooting happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. at a motel in the 4400 block of Troy Highway. That shooting left a man in life-threatening condition.
Just over an hour later at 8:41 p.m., officers and medics responded to the 600 block of North Pass Road, just off Coliseum Boulevard and the Northern Boulevard, on reports of another shooting. There, first responders found a woman who needed to be transported to an area hospital. Investigators have confirmed the injuries are non-life-threatening in this case.
Forty minutes later, around 9:20 p.m., first responders were called to a double shooting in the 3500 block of Manley Drive. That’s located off Lower Wetumpka Road, also not far from the Northern Boulevard. There, authorities found one man dead and another who was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
None of the victims have been been identified. There are also no known motives or suspects identified in any of the cases, as of early Friday morning…
