BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Deputies with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s celebrated an inmate’s achievement of completing his General Educational Development.
According to the deputies, Thomas Massey earned his GED while in custody at the Buncombe County Detention Facility.
“Education and personal growth are important steps toward a brighter future, and we are proud of those who take the opportunity to better themselves,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. “Earning a GED requires dedication and hard work, and Thomas’ achievement is a testament to his commitment to self-improvement.”…
