COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) – Covington police launched an investigation Tuesday after an incident involving a teacher and a student was reported to administrators in the Covington Independent Public School District.
According to an email that was sent to families from Superintendent Alvin Garrison, a now-former teacher at Holmes High School allegedly had inappropriate communication with a student.
“Upon receiving this report, we acted immediately and contacted Covington police and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to investigate the matter thoroughly. The teacher in question is no longer employed by Covington Independent Public Schools,” Garrison wrote in the email…
