Mother charged with threatening mass violence at Fairview Elementary School, police say

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A woman was arrested after police said she threatened mass violence at Fairview Elementary School on Wednesday, March 12, according to the High Point Police Department (HPPD).

Around 2:50 p.m., officers were called to the elementary school regarding a missing child. The child’s mother told staff her child did not get on the right school bus, police said.
