More than 13,000 federal workers, contractors apply for unemployment in the DMV

WASHINGTON (7News) — Kevin Johnson is an experienced federal contractor. A deputy director on dozens of projects at the United States Agency for International Development for the past 16 years.

Last month the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE canceled his company’s contracts and now he’s looking for work.
