WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Meteorologist Peyton Sanders says that damaging winds across Kansas will start to ease overnight, but winds will remain gusty into Saturday.
Winds will continue to gust over 50 miles per hour across the state through midnight, but after midnight, gusts should start to drop to between 35 and 45 miles per hour.
Gusty winds will continue on Saturday with gusts up to 30 miles per hour at times. With low relative humidity, fire danger will be elevated, but not as extreme as Friday…
