Two arrested in Salt Lake City carjacking at gunpoint, police say

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Two men were arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly stealing a car at gunpoint in downtown Salt Lake City, authorities said.

Salt Lake City police responded to a report of a carjacking near 210 West and 500 South just before 2 a.m. on March 12.

According to police documents, the suspects, 18-year-old Michael Manuelito and 21-year-old Nicholas Reddye, reportedly displayed a firearm, threatened the victims, and demanded their car. While the victims managed to flee, Manuelito and Reddye drove off in the stolen vehicle…
