NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A grand jury refused to indict George Henderson, a 61-year-old Alzheimer’s patient, after he was accused of drugs, punched unconscious and arrested by a police officer in Guthrie, Kentucky, last December.
Henderson served 29 years in the Army and retired as a master sergeant in 2018. According to his wife Kimberly Henderson, his Alzheimer’s was the result of multiple head injuries suffered during the war in Iraq.
But on Dec. 6, 2024, Henderson walked away from his Clarksville home, sparking a Silver Alert. Six hours later, he was found at a gas station in Guthrie, about 10 miles away…
