LEXINGTON, S.C. — A major project to repave roads in the Town of Lexington will begin later this year. Twenty neighborhoods will receive a much-needed road makeover.
Town officials confirmed in a recent council meeting that about $4 million is being spent on the project, which will repave specific areas of concern on neighborhood roads.
“The project consists of asphalt resurfacing and milling of distressed payment and correction or repair of some curb drainage areas and there is also included a little bit of sidewalk replacement but mostly it’s about repairing the roadway surfaces distressed from years of use,” Lexington Transportation Director Randy Edwards said…
