MEMPHIS, Tenn. – As of right now, Memphis and the Mid-South are CLEAR from any active thunderstorm or tornado warnings. However, some of our counties are still under active severe weather alerts, including a Tornado Watch and a Flood Watch. Strong to severe storms are ongoing, bringing heavy rain, strong winds, and the potential for tornadoes.
Wind has been a major factor with these storms so please be alert for debris and traffic lights that may be out, as of 2:30 Saturday afternoon over 6,500 MLGW customers are without power.
