Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp declares state of emergency ahead of dangerous storms

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Gov. Brian Kemp has declared a state of emergency as Georgia braces for severe storms on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

The order gives emergency officials permission to mobilize extra resources and ends at midnight next Tuesday.
