More high-end dining in the pipeline for Tempe

The Tempe dining scene has gone from zero to 140 mph in the past year, and it hasn’t hit the checkered flag yet. There is plenty more higher-end dining in the pipeline.

A good, sit-down place to eat was not easy to find downtown as recently as a couple of years ago, aside from Rula Bula and House of Tricks – now both departed – and Caffe Boa, which is still dishing up its European fare.

Tempe Marketplace has a strong restaurant lineup, but that’s three miles away from downtown…
