Washington Winter Storm Warning: Up to 10 Inches of Snow, 50 mph Winds Through Sunday Morning

Spokane, WA – A powerful winter storm is impacting Washington state, bringing heavy snowfall and strong winds to multiple regions, including the Northeast Blue Mountains and the Cascade passes. The storm is expected to continue through Sunday, creating hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Spokane, the Northeast Blue Mountains, including Mountain Road, Anatone, Peola, and Cloverland Road, will receive an additional 7 to 10 inches of snow above 4,000 feet by Sunday afternoon. Winds are expected to gust up to 50 mph Saturday and 45 mph Sunday, leading to significant blowing and drifting snow in backcountry areas.
