In a bid to gather essential data on residential water consumption and boost conservation efforts, the City of Santa Barbara is calling upon its residents to participate in a comprehensive National Water-Use Survey.
The goal of this survey is to gain deeper insights into household water usage patterns to better inform water management strategies and sustain Santa Barbara’s long-term water conservation plans.
Implemented anonymously, the survey delves into various aspects of home water use, ranging from the frequency of appliance-related leaks in the past two years to the number of household appliances that utilize water. Furthermore, it seeks to understand the condition and efficiency of residents’ irrigation systems.
