High Wind Warning for Northern Nevada: Power Outages and Hazardous Travel Possible Monday

Reno, NV – Northern Nevada residents can expect strong winds, rain, and even some snow as St. Patrick’s Day kicks off an unsettled weather pattern. A High Wind Warning remains in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday, with gusts up to 65 mph, creating hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Reno, rain will begin late Sunday night, transitioning to a rain-snow mix by early Monday.
