Woman fleeing police crashes vehicle

A student attending a local university was arrested recently after she reportedly fled officers who attempted to stop her for driving with no headlights.

Jemia Nacole Young, 22, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, was arrested by Grambling State University Police for aggravated flight from an officer and no lights at about 8:30 p.m. on March 7.

Young reportedly was driving in the GSU West Campus off La. Highway 150 with no lights on. She drove around a police unit and left the West Campus, failing to stop at a stop sign. She traveled on Hwy. 150 at speeds 25 miles an hour over the posted speed limit, crossing the center line multiple times…
