Hillsboro man sentenced to 14 years after admitting to 241 crimes

Gage Luttman, 37, of Hillsboro has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to 241 crimes in St. Louis Circuit Court. He admitted to a series of burglaries and thefts that occurred over several months in southwest St. Louis, court records show.

A grand jury on June 11, 2024, indicted Luttman on 252 felony and misdemeanor charges, which included charges for stealing, burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle, property damage and assault, according to court documents.

As part of Luttman’s plea agreement, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office dismissed 11 felony stealing of firearm charges. Luttman’s sentences included terms of six months in jail, 10 years in prison and 14 years in prison, but the sentences will be served concurrently, or at the same time, for a total of 14 years, court records said…
