The weather rollercoaster we know as March will definitely live up to its name this week. After a few days of gradually warmer temperatures, a storm system will bring most of us rain changing to snow. There could be some accumulation over northern Lower Michigan and heavy snow over the Upper Peninsula.
The first three days this week are going to start from normally cool today to quite warm by Wednesday. It won’t be as warm as Saturday, but it also won’t be as windy.
Here are the high temperatures expected Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday and Wednesday will be very spring-like and Thursday will be wintry.
Rain will start over Lower Michigan Wednesday afternoon and evening. It looks like a warm spring showery style of rain, not a steady soaker at first. Wednesday night the rain will change to snow from northwest to southeast. By mid-morning Thursday we should have snow mixed with rain as far south as Ann Arbor, Detroit, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids…
