Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” Tour Faces Ticket Sales Slump

Pop superstar Beyoncé’s upcoming “Cowboy Carter” tour, a relatively short run from April 28th to July 25th, 2025, with only 31 shows, is reportedly facing sluggish ticket sales. It appears the singer may have overestimated demand, pricing tickets at a premium level.

According to reports, average ticket prices range from $70 to $400, with VIP packages reaching eye-watering sums of $732 to $2,958 per ticket. Resale prices are, predictably, even higher.

While some fans are willing to pay a premium to see Queen Bey live, many others are expressing their disappointment and frustration over the high cost, accusing the singer of prioritizing profit over her loyal fanbase.

Fan Backlash on Social Media

The “Beyhive,” as Beyoncé’s dedicated fans are known, have taken to social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to voice their discontent. One fan lamented having to miss the tour due to the “outrageous” Los Angeles ticket prices, calling the situation “greedy.”

Another user pointed out the irony of the “Cowboy Carter” tour struggling to sell out in certain cities, including London, suggesting that even Beyoncé is not immune to fan pushback against exorbitant pricing and dynamic pricing strategies. A third fan echoed this sentiment, stating that Beyoncé’s “elite expensive” prices are unaffordable for many of her working-class fans, and urged her to reconsider her pricing strategy.
