Broadmoor Meijer Gas Station
On Broadmoor Ave in Caledonia, you’ll find a Meijer gas station that has sat alone since it was built in 2021. Meijer reportedly owns this large swath of land and there have been rumors of a plan to build a new Meijer here, despite the Gaines Township Meijer being located just five miles up the road, but Meijer hasn’t made any indication a store is coming.
For a time, development plans looked promising. The Meijer gas station has been operating since 2022. In 2023, it got its first friend, Taco John’s, which shared an entrance with it. This looked like the start of a development wave hitting that area.
