INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD confirmed a missing father and ex-husband has been found safe after he was reportedly last heard from in May 2023.
An IMPD spokesperson confirmed the assigned detective to Derrick Sanders’ case confirmed Sanders was located safely overnight Tuesday, March 18.
The detective told 13News Sanders was found in Indianapolis but did not provide an exact location. His ex-wife, Ashley Sanders, posted on social media saying “while we haven’t yet been able to speak with Derrek directly, we are hopeful for a reunion soon. Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this next chapter.”…
