IONE, Calif. — The cause of death for a woman visiting her husband last year at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione has been released.
According to the Amador County Sheriff’s Office, she was 62-year-old Stephanie Diane Brinson and her cause of death was strangulation. It’s been ruled a homicide.
The sheriff’s office says it’s being investigated by the prison and Amador County District Attorney’s Office, who asked them not to release further information…
