One Stop Housing provides safe, affordable housing for working people

The Orlando area is the 14th most expensive city for renters, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. While this might not come as a surprise, it is evident in the region’s expansive unhoused population, with over 2,000 people experiencing homelessness, according to a census conducted last January.

Contrary to societal belief, homelessness does not just impact the unemployed. For some working people, the challenge of finding stable housing goes beyond trying to make ends meet and seems a nearly impossible feat.
