Nestlé USA Recalls Frozen Meals Due to Possible Wood Pieces

Nestlé USA has announced a voluntary recall of four frozen meal products – three Lean Cuisine varieties and one Stouffer’s offering – due to the potential presence of wood fragments. The recall comes after consumer complaints, including one report of a potential choking incident.

These products were distributed to retailers nationwide between September 2024 and March 2025. Consumers who have purchased these items are urged not to consume them and should return them to the store of purchase for a full refund or replacement.

Nestlé USA is actively investigating the source of the contamination and cooperating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S.

Department of Agriculture. The company has stated that this appears to be an isolated incident and that no other Lean Cuisine or Stouffer’s products are affected by this recall.

Nestlé has apologized to consumers and retailers for the inconvenience.
