According to the Griffin Police Department, the shooting occurred shortly after a court appearance related to their divorce proceedings. As both individuals entered separate vehicles outside the courthouse, gunshots were fired. Tom Mallory allegedly shot Krystal multiple times from his car window before fleeing the scene.
