PG&E residential customers across California, including those in Northern and Central California, will see a significant credit on their April energy bills, thanks to the California Climate Credit, the utility company announced.
Directed by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), this credit totals $125.26 for customers receiving both electric and gas services from PG&E.
The breakdown includes a $58.23 electric credit and a $67.03 natural gas credit. According to PG&E, no action is required for customers to receive the credit, which is automatically applied. Electric credits are distributed in April and October, while natural gas customers receive their annual credit each April. Small businesses also receive identical electric credits twice yearly.
