Myrtle Beach to honor military community members with feature banners

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – The City of Myrtle Beach is accepting applications for a new initiative to honor veterans and active duty military members across the Grand Strand.

The project will feature military banners posted on lamp posts along Ocean and Harrelson boulevards. The city is accepting 100 applications and will have them on display from May until August.

Each banner will include a picture of a service member, their rank, years of service, and branch of the military…
