27-year-old faces 5 felony DUI charges after deadly collision in Ravenel in 2023

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A man has been charged in connection to a DUI collision that resulted in one person being killed and at least eight others injured in 2023 in Ravenel, according to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.

Brandon David Simons, 27, was charged with reckless homicide death, and five counts of felony DUI causing great bodily injury, according to online jail records.
