NEW YORK (PIX11) — A Bronx family is desperate for answers and arrests after a young man was violently attacked and killed in Brooklyn.
His mother said his final words were, “Don’t let me die,” but his attackers stabbed him until he bled to death.

“I’m not OK because you took him from me,” said his mother, Marisol Miranda. “He died at the hands of teenagers, and they need to do better. I want justice.”
According to Miranda, police told her that Michael Hernandez Jr. was jumped last Friday by a group of young people. It happened around 9 p.m. near Barclays Center at Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, not far from where he was living. However, the circumstances surrounding her son’s murder remain a mystery…
