Bay Area man facing 100 years in prison

(KRON) — A Bay Area man who went on a daylong crime spree in Monterey County is facing a 100-year prison sentence after he was convicted by a jury, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Tele Matangi, 37 of Pittsburg, Calif., was found guilty of carjacking, hit-and-run, shooting at an occupied vehicle, and a slew of other felony charges following a trial.
