Strong winds, possible storms, and even snow could make their way into the St. Louis region on both sides of the Mississippi River as Wednesday moves along.
According to the National Weather Service , strong winds between 23 and 25 mph could have gusts up to 50 mph heading into Wednesday afternoon with just a 30% chance of precipitation. The Weather Channel reports the winds could be at their heaviest Wednesday evening between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. That’s also the same time frame Accuweather shows a higher probability of storms.

The National Weather Service also notes wind gusts in the eastern portion of Madison, Jersey, and St. Clair counties could see up to 60 mph wind gusts with an elevated chance of stronger storms.
