One of the two surviving children of a woman who was murdered in her home in Burlington in July 1993 is sharing her story of how her mother’s murder affected her – partly as a catharsis, and partly to raise awareness about a parole process that she believes is deeply flawed after allowing her mother’s killer to walk out of prison a free man.
