SEWARD, Neb. (KOLN) — The Seward man accused of killing his ex-fiancé just a day after bonding out of jail was found competent to stand trial on Wednesday.
Judge James Strecker reviewed the competency report prepared by the Lincoln Regional Center and determined 54-year-old Casey Kindt is of sound mind to be tried in 36-year-old Jamie Hagen’s murder.
A further hearing has been set for April 2 in Seward County District Court…
