Man gets 21-year sentence in human trafficking case

DENVER ( KDVR ) — A man was sentenced to 21 years in prison for human trafficking.

On Wednesday, Denver District Attorney John Walsh said William Galbreath was sentenced after pleading guilty in January to one count of human trafficking. Galbreath was also ordered to register as a sex offender.

According to the DA’s office, between April 2021 and April 2024, Galbreath found multiple “vulnerable women” and coerced them to “engage in commercial sex with false promises of large sums of money.” He also created fake businesses to launder the proceeds of the commercial sex…
