BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County firefighter Randy Raymond is fighting more than just fires.
Raymond was first diagnosed with testicular cancer in December of 2023. A year later after multiple scans, doctors found cancer yet again but this time it spread to various parts of his body.
“I got a great support system. I got a great family and I’m just going to move on with my life and get through this,” said Raymond.
