Roy Heaton, 74, was arrested on March 18 after deputies saw him discard an eyeglass container while riding a bike on Roosevelt Drive. The container held over 9 grams of methamphetamine, which Delta Shift deputies identified. Heaton, who has multiple prior drug charges, including a Trafficking Meth charge in October 2024, is now charged with Possession of Meth and remains in the Anderson County Detention Center on more than $50,000 bond.
