JuJu Watkins showed her mettle in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament in USC’s 71-25 win over UNC Greensboro.
On Saturday, USC took on UNC Greensboro at Galen Center in Los Angeles and throughout the game, the star attempted to get going by aggressively going after every loose ball to give the Trojans second chance opportunities. Watkins battled the Spartans on every possession it appeared as if the impact of her efforts was taking a toll on her.
As Watkins was fighting for positioning for an offensive rebound against UNC Greensboro’s Nia Howard, the two appeared to get tangled up briefly, with the USC star’s left hand getting hung up.
