A second Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer has been assigned to US Northern Command’s ongoing efforts to secure the US Southern Border. The first warship assigned to that mission – USS Gravely – left Yorktown, Virginia on Saturday, March 15, 2025, bound for waters off the US Southern Coast.
