AUSTIN (KXAN) — More glass has fallen from a building under construction in downtown Austin, prompting another street closure Saturday evening.
Guadalupe Street is shut down between Fifth and Sixth Streets downtown. Both the Austin Fire Department and Austin Police Department responded to 321 Guadalupe St. where a window of a lower unit “came apart,” according to AFD.
APD shut down the road but didn’t have a timeline for when it would reopen. It alerted the building’s maintenance crew.
