CHICAGO — An Albany Park man is charged with murder, accused of becoming enraged at a neighbor he did not know and then stabbing the victim in the middle of the street where they live.
Prosecutors said Irving Martinez-Hernandez, 30, left his apartment in the 3500 block of West Sunnyside on an electric bike around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18. He very quickly became involved in an altercation with Juan Tello Suarez, 34, who was driving home from work.
Martinez-Hernandez followed Suarez until he parked and video showed Martinez-Hernandez putting his bike away and returning to the street to confront Suarez, according to prosecutors. The video also showed Suarez trying to avoid Martinez-Hernandez by walking around him and crossing the street, prosecutors said, but Martinez-Hernandez repeatedly stepped into his path…
