6-State Trooper Project yields 343 drug arrests and 78 weapons violations; Ohio and West Virginia reported a combined 79 drug arrests and 23 weapons violations

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTRF) – Earlier this month, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, in collaboration with the 6-State Trooper Project, focused on removing drugs and illegal weapons from communities.

During this initiative, Ohio troopers made 37 arrests for drug-related offenses and 13 for illegal weapons violations. Meanwhile, the West Virginia State Police reported 42 drug arrests and 10 arrests for illegal weapon offenses.

This enforcement effort involved the Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, West Virginia State Police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
