BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Sunday night: Much of central Alabama is at a level 1/5 and 2/5 risk tonight for strong storms. The greatest risk remains in west Alabama, as well as in portions of Mississippi. Portions of west and central Alabama will be under a severe thunderstorm watch until midnight. Storms will enter the Marion County area at around 9 p.m., reaching the area of the Interstate 20 corridor around midnight.
