SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) — A family were forced from their home on Evans Road in Smithfield after it caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Deputy Chief John O’Rourke said the fire happened around 2 p.m. after a small brush fire extended to the home and wooded area nearby.
Nobody suffered any injuries. The fire’s cause is under investigation…
