Pregnant woman escapes man who was holding her captive, beating her: TPD

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A pregnant woman escaped a man who was beating her and flagged down a good Samaritan for help, police said. Now, the man faces multiple felony charges, according to court documents.

Police arrested 33-year-old Omar Dancer just before 5 p.m. Sunday, according to court records. The woman told police that he punched and kicked her multiple times in the head and stomach Friday, according to court documents.

She also said that while assaulting her for over an hour time period, he wouldn’t let her leave the house, grabbed a knife, and “told her we’re both going to die today,” police allege in court records…
