CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) – Authorities believe human remains found near Columbus, Kansas are those of a 19-year-old reported missing in 2023.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, they took a call about human remains found in a wooded area just west of Columbus. Deputies along with Columbus Police Officers responded to the area and found skeletal remains.
Authorities say there were also personal items in the area that identified the person as Jaden Santini. He was 19 years old when his family reported him missing in December of 2023, but last saw him on November 30…
