Residents growing concerned over jaywalking students at Granger High

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (KUTV) — Students at Granger High School are allowed to walk off campus for lunch.

While most students use the crosswalk, others don’t — which one person who lives and works near the school said happens far too often.

“They’re just going across the street without caring at all about cars,” Tyler Mitchell, a concerned community member said. “A kid will just come out of nowhere, dart out in front of me, and I have to slam on my brakes. And I’m within a couple of feet of hitting them.”…
