RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Tar Heel State is the most prone to worker burnout in the country, with high numbers reported in its two most populated cities, a new study found.
The study from Dnovo used a “Worker Burnout Index” based on self-reported burnout levels, workplace environment factors such as average working hours and paid time off utilization, and work-life balance indicators, including commute times and access to quality healthcare services. Burnout levels were displayed on a 0-100 scale.
